Almost everyone knows, at least at intuition level, what is an ordered or chaotic event; the simplest way to describe it is to define, according to an instinctive geometrical approach, the physical position of the objects or their parts. This is because geometry, as a whole of relations amongst position, quantity and quality has essentially to do with human actions, which takes place mainly according to organized schemes, oriented in space and time. The research about order and chaos in architecture deals also with an issue of harmony and dissonance in the construction of compositions and with the laws that regulate "orders" of a complex type. From the lattices of the planned cities and of cities spontaneously "grown up", up to the Japanese architecture whose order is based on a delicate balance of weights and distances and on the rhythmic alternation of closed and open spaces, of silence and sound, the paper aims to reread deconstruction and complex systems such as similar palimpsests in music and architecture, both structured according to the languages of contemporaneity.
Quasi tutti sanno, in modo intuitivo, cosa sia un evento ordinato o casuale; il modo più semplice per descriverlo è quello di definire, secondo un approccio istintivamente geometrico, la posizione fisica degli oggetti o delle loro parti; poiché la geometria, come coacervo di relazioni di posizione, quantità e qualità riguarda l'agire umano, che si svolge principalmente secondo schemi organizzati, orientati nello spazio e nel tempo. La ricerca su ordine e disordine in architettura affronta anche il tema dell'armonia e della dissonanza nella costruzione compositiva e delle leggi che regolano “ordini” di tipo complesso. Dai reticoli delle città pianificate e quelle "cresciute", all'architettura giapponese il cui ordine è basato su un delicato equilibrio di pesi e distanze e sul ritmico alternarsi di spazi chiusi e aperti, di silenzio e suono, per rileggere la decostruzione e i sistemi complessi come palinsesti analoghi in musica e in architettura, strutturati secondo i linguaggi della contemporaneità.
