The article discloses the church architecture of Yerevan since 1920s till now. The study shows the history of the first christian country of a world-Armenia, and the development of a church architecture of the capital city Yerevan. In the article it is examined how the surroundings of the sacred places of Yerevan are used as public spaces from the point of view their functions and factors, characteristics and the uniqueness and the traditinal features.
