The chapter resumes the history of Italian television through the modalities of ideation and production of programs (format) and of organisation of programming (schedules). In particular, it tries to study the changes in television structures introduced by new kinds of offer (i.e. pay-tv, video on demand) and above all by the interaction between television and computer.
Il capitolo ripercorre la storia della televisione italiana attraverso le modalità di ideazione e produzione dei programmi (format) e di organizzazione della programmazione (palinsesti). Si cerca, in particolare, di approfondire i mutamenti delle strutture televisive in seguito alle nuove modalità di offerta (pay-tv, video on demand) e all'interazione con il computer.
