L'articolo ripercorre le tappe della politica condotta da Romania e Ungheria in Transilvania durante la seconda guerra mondiale, focalizzandosi sulle reciproche rappresaglie messe in atto nei confronti delle rispettive minoranze. Le fonti utilizzate sono i documenti diplomatici italiani, tedeschi, ungheresi e i materiali prodotti dalle commissioni militari di controllo italo-tedesche.
