“Has sexuality anything to do with psychoanalysis?” is the challenging title given by André Green (1995) to a paper in which he stated that “direct discussion of sexuality seems to have declined in ordinary clinical presentations, and sexuality also seems to have become marginalized” (p. 871). In the opinion of the Author, nowadays sexuality seems to be more dislocated than marginalized, both from a theoretical and a physical (bodies, environments, places …) perspective. The clinical and theoretical implications of this point of view are discussed in the chapter.

Abstract
“Has sexuality anything to do with psychoanalysis?” is the challenging title given by André Green (1995) to a paper in which he stated that “direct discussion of sexuality seems to have declined in ordinary clinical presentations, and sexuality also seems to have become marginalized” (p. 871). In the opinion of the Author, nowadays sexuality seems to be more dislocated than marginalized, both from a theoretical and a physical (bodies, environments, places …) perspective. The clinical and theoretical implications of this point of view are discussed in the chapter.File | Dimensione | Formato | |
