Quale regola per il Tempietto?

The Tempietto of San Pietro in Montorio is still investigated, analysed and, in particular, represented as the unquestionable manifestation of «buona e bella Architettura» («good and beautiful architecture», Palladio 1570), a model that vied with the ancient monuments that Bramante himself, «solo e cogitativo» («alone and wrapped in thought», Vasari 1568), had surveyed and examined. The present essay brings forward an up-to-date interpretation of the Tempietto by comparing different survey and recovery methods, at the same time providing a starting point for further thoughts on their potential uses

Il Tempietto di San Pietro in Montorio è ancora oggi studiato, analizzato e soprattutto rappresentato come vero e proprio manifesto della «buona e bella Architettura» (Palladio 1570), confrontabile con quelle antiche testimonianze che lo stesso Bramante, «solo e cogitativo» (Vasari 1568), aveva rilevato e analizzato. Il contributo qui presentato propone una lettura attuale del Tempietto, operando un confronto tra le diverse metodologie di rilievo e di restituzione e offrendo lo spunto per una riflessione sulle loro possibili applicazioni.
