The period of architectural production, treated in the texts that follow, is mainly relevant to thirty years at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. In this collection, which constitutes the second part of the book, will precede a series of introductory essays. Each is accompanied by a date which marked the breakups, physical and cultural, which invested on Japan in the last two centuries. The sequence of events, deliberately not chronological, is instrumental to the analysis of architectural and urban facts of which you want to give account.
