L’architettura della creatività iconica. Comprendere con le forme, apprendere con le immagini

The text deals with the pedagogical and formative aspects of the representation and manipulation of elementary forms, from nineteenth-century pedagogy to modernity, passing through the experience of the Bauhaus. The discussion highlights above all the shift from an interest towards a form of education focused on "know-how" to one, contemporary, which should instead be oriented also to "know how to see", in order to teach how to manage the huge information database which come in large numbers in the form of images.

Il testo affronta gli aspetti pedagogici e formativi della rappresentazione e della manipolazione delle forme elementari, dalla pedagogia ottocentesca alla contemporaneità, passando attraverso l'esperienza del Bauhaus. Nella trattazione si evidenzia soprattutto il passaggio da un interesse verso una forma di educazione incentrata sul "saper fare" ad una, contemporanea, che invece dovrebbe essere orientata anche al "saper vedere", in modo da insegnare a gestire l'enorme database di informazioni che arrivano in gran numero sotto forma di immagini.
