Abstract
The general equations of transient heatconduction in largespacestructures consisting of bar-like members are written. For repetitive bays, and using Laplace transform technique, an exact solution is obtained, giving the temperature at any point, at any time. An illustrative example, based on a very simple geometry, shows the influence of the various parameters involved in the analysis. Also, the solution for special cases is written (e.g., unit step of sinusoidal varying heat input). Several numerical examples complete the paper.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
