The management of pretected areas as a innovation of albanian geographic studies - The case of the" Drenova's Fir " National Park

Durnig the last years, geograpfic studies have embraced slso the natural heritage. Based on the results obtained in this area, these studies are entering with corage even in the central problem of this heritage, the management of protected areas.This article, analyzes the main criteria of the management of protected areas and the main aspects of this management in " Drenova's Fir " National Park. Referring to the burning of 45% of this park due to the fires ocurred durin this year"summer, a particular is paid to the ways and menas of the recuperation of the lost values damaged by fire . Therefore the analyzed topics are : our legal framework, the statistical fire risk of august 1912, and the variables climate, vegetation, topography, anthropogenic factors etc, indispensable forr the implementation of the model for the recuperation of the lost values . The results of this model are presented through GIS analysis in the map ofe fire risk and of the park's re- zoning. These maps and analysis could be used to determine the most suitable actions against fire in the territory of " Drenova's fir" National Park. This model could be user for the recuperation of the values damaged by fires even in other pretected areas of our country.
