Sand, stones, and bones. The archaeology of death in the Wadi Tanezzuft Valley (5000-2000 bp)

The book publishes the 5-years project on the funerary archaeology and paleobiology of late prehistoric and protohistoric groups of Wadi Tanezzuft, south-western Libya. It is the full critical interdisciplinary publication of the systematic surveys, excavations, and analises of biological and archaeological material coordinated by the director of the project, Savino Di Lernia. It has involved several researchers focusing on geoarchaeology, palaeobiology, GIS analysis and archaeology.
