Abstract

An efficient method for the analysis of arbitrary NMTLs is presented and investigated. The considered structure is divided in a cascade of small slightly nonuniform transmission line sections, which can be accurately modelled by means of successive approximations in order to obtain the multiport ABCD transfer matrix in the frequency domain. The method is compared with other full-wave and quasi TEM approaches in order to show its accuracy and suitability in modelling arbitrary nonuniform coupled structures
