Abstract

In the fifteenth century as part of revitalizing the city's economy, raising in Rome was one of the most important investment sectors. In this regard, the reflections on this aspect intend to highlight the role of the market of products related to industry (meat, cheese, wool) projecting the trade in the interregional circuits. In particular, some unpublished documents allow us to reconstruct the mode of participation in the Kingdom of Naples fairs and its intervention in land reclamation in the Pontine territory.
