ENGLISHTHE essay represents the first systematic study of Reasoning over the ownership of companies with details of academic Trust Contile of Luke (1574), a work which, after studies scholars of the late nineteenth century and early twentieth century, was mentioned only in passing by critical bibliography. The close analysis of the sources and structure of the book, together with the analysis of the style adopted by Contile in the theoretical and in the description of the business, reveals the innovative features of this work that appears in an episode and not a secondary non-trivial in the history books of firms in the sixteenth century Italian. L’analisi ravvicinata delle fonti e della struttura del volume, insieme all’analisi dello stile adottato da Contile nella parte teorica e nella descrizione delle imprese, rivela le caratteristiche innovative di tale opera che appare un episodio non secondario e non banale nella storia dei libri di imprese del Cinquecento italiano.
