La storia di Bayad e Riyad (Vat. ar. 368). Una nuova edizione e traduzione

The volume contains a new edition of the Arabic text of the ms Vat.ar. 368 (Hadith Bayad wa Riyad) an Italian translation and a large Introduction to the manuscript that includes the history of the codex; a review of the work already dedicated to it and that pushed me to make a new edition and translation of the text, a codicological analysis - enriched by a contribution of the head of the Restoration Laboratory of the Vatican Library; a palaeographical description of the script and a history of the manuscript tradition of the text.

Il volume contiene una nuova edizione del testo arabo del manoscritto Vaticano arabo 368, la prima traduzione italiana del testo e un'ampia introduzione al manoscritto comprendente: la storia del codice, una revisione degli studi ad esso dedicati, un'analisi codicologica - arricchita dal contributo del capo del laboratorio di restauro della Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana; un'analisi paleografica della scrittura; la storia della tradizione del testo.
