The article presents the results of intensive geoarchaeological survey carried out from 1993 to 2001, focussing on Holocene climate change and cultural adaptations. The study area, the Wadi Tanezzuft valley, is of crucial importance being the connection between several regions, such as Tassili, Acacus and Edeyen of Ubari.
