The activity on avoidance behavior of p-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA) has been investigated in guinea pigs. P-chlorophenylalanine depresses avoidance responses; the results are discussed especially in connection to the problem of neurochemical transmitters in brain and their relationship to behavior.
