The magazine was organized by collecting and reviewing various contributions drawn on the state of instability, the problems of intervention and the principals of emergency put in place after the L'Aquila earthquake of 6 April 2009. The assays were developed by architects and engineers, specialists in the restoration and consolidation and treat general topics (problems of instability of the historic architecture of L'Aquila, with particular reference to local building practices, evaluation of the seismic vulnerability of buildings, improving or worsening characteristics of the restorations conducted in the region in the twentieth century) and specific topics such as diseases recorded in some of the monuments and the safety of individual factories.
La rivista è stata organizzata raccogliendo e revisionando diversi contributi redatti sullo stato dei dissesti, sulle problematiche d'intervento e sui presidi di emergenza messi in campo dopo il terremoto aquilano del 6 aprile 2009. I saggi sono stati elaborati da architetti e ingegneri specialisti del restauro e del consolidamento e trattano temi generali (problematiche di dissesto dell'architettura storica aquilana, con particolare riferimento alla pratiche costruttive locali, valutazione della vulnerabilità sismica degli edifici, caratteristiche migliorative o peggiorative dei restauri condotti nella regione nel XX secolo) e argomenti specifici quali le patologie registrate in alcuni monumenti dell'area e la messa in sicurezza di singole fabbriche.
