This study is part of a broader project for which various archival sources have been identified. Reconstructing the history of the service profession therefore involves a complete rereading also of a social structure of a city. For this specific study, it was decided to carry out an initial general survey of the different types of papal domestics developed and established in a particular period for the papacy.
