Assuming a nonvanishing neutrino magnetic moment, the decay rate for pi-0 --> gamma-nu-nu-BAR has been calculated. The experimental study of this process allows an improvement of the upper limit of the tau-neutrino magnetic moment, if sensitivity to a branching ratio B approximately 10(-11) can be reached.
