Abstract
This paper examines remote sensing detection techniques for data integration in GIS aimed at monitoring Brownfields normally generated by building demolition. The resulted wastes reduce life quality of those who live in the neighbouring area. In particular, hazard increases when dangerous materials are used. The Laboratory of CNR (LARA.) detects environmental data by means of the airborne MIVIS (Multispectral Infrared and Visible Imaging Spectrometer) sensor in order to allow us a detailed classification of the territory and the identification of the Brownfields. Moreover, GIS tools correlate and fuse many data in such a way to evaluate extension and derivative parameters of the same Brownfields and to elaborate indicators that can be used within the framework of a sustainable planning and development.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
