Thermal gradients, wind pressure and mechanical ventilation system determine a natural airflow indoor-outdoor. A free air jet coming from an air curtain system reduces the exchange air flow traveling from indoor to outdoor and viceversa. Theoretical methods and advanced CFD analysis are compared to try out the dynamic efficiency of the air curtain device. By results, guidelines to improve the project quality are carried out.
