A 36-year-old white female was admitted to our Department. The diagnosis of angiolymphoid hyperplasia with eosinophilia (ALHE)was made. A surgical excision led to a fl are up of the lesions after 4 months. The lesions were treated with electrodessica-tion. After 5 months new angiomatoid lesions appeared. Isotretinoin (0.5 mg/kg/day) for 10 months led to a re-gression of the nodules which decreased in size, remain-ing stable without new lesions to date. During 2 years of follow-up no signi fi cant changes of this clinical picture have been observed We present this case to underline how isotretinoin could be a good alternative to stabilize the disease for its antiangiogenetic properties in patients who present recurrence of the disease. Moreover, in our case, with-drawal of isotretinoin did not accompany a flare up of the disease.
