Le Mille e una notte e il Dighenìs Akritis

Within the literary relations between the "Arabian Nights" and the epic poem of the Greek Middle Ages "Dighenìs Akritis" this paper presents an analysis of the narrative motif of the warrior woman present in both works in order to outline a typology of the Amazon in the world of Arabic Byzantine frontier.

All’interno dei rapporti letterari fra le “Mille e una notte” e il poema epico del medioevo greco “Dighenìs Akritis” si analizza il motivo narrativo della donna guerriera presente in entrambe le opere al fine di delineare una tipologia dell’amazzone nel mondo della frontiera arabo bizantina.
