The membrane activity of two classes of lipodepsipeptides, lipodespinonapeptides (mycins) and larger peptins was studied. All induced the red Blood cells haemolysis, leakage of calcein incapsulated into the liposomes. Haemolytic activity of mycins is higher than that of the peptins. The extent of permeabilization of lipid vescicles is dependentt on their composition.

Abstract
The membrane activity of two classes of lipodepsipeptides, lipodespinonapeptides (mycins) and larger peptins was studied. All induced the red Blood cells haemolysis, leakage of calcein incapsulated into the liposomes. Haemolytic activity of mycins is higher than that of the peptins. The extent of permeabilization of lipid vescicles is dependentt on their composition.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
