This book analyzes all aspects related to the economy of a society protostatale archaic in formation, like that of Arslantepe, Malatya, in eastern Anatolia, on the High turkish Euphrates, on the basis of archaeological data obtained over many years of excavation and search the site, analyzed in an interdisciplinary way. The 'public and private architecture, the system of redistribution, agricultural practices and farming, the consumption of food within the ritual, crafts and trade are analyzed in an interdisciplinary manner in relation to the phenomenon of centralization and interference of the institutions rising power in the economic life of the population. It analyzes the relationship between power and forms of the economy in the context of current theories on the topic in anthropology and archeology.
Il volume analizza tutti gli aspetti riconducibili all'economia di una società protostatale arcaica in via di formazione, come quella di Arslantepe, Malatya, in Anatolia orientale, sull'Alto Eufrate turco, sulla base dei dati archeologici ottenuti in tanti anni di scavo e di ricerche nel sito, analizzati in modo interdisciplinare. L' architettura pubblica e privata, il sistema di redistribuzione, le pratiche agricole e di allevamento, il consumo di cibo in ambito rituale, l'artigianato e il commercio sono analizzati in modo interdisciplinare in relazione al fenomeno della centralizzazione e dell'interferenza delle istituzioni centrali nascenti nella vita economica della popolazione. Si analizza il rapporto tra potere e forme dell'economia nel contesto delle teorie correnti sul tema in ambito antropologico e archeologico.
