Abstract

The close relationship between the subject, image and sign in polysemic complex systems can be considered historical aspects of cognitive development that affect the literary and figurative Mesopotamian and - in particular - the statuary, its representations and expressions of his 'communicative action' in Country of Sumer and Akkad, between the end of the fourth and the end of the third millennium BC As is known, these large or small statues, comprising mostly of molded clay models, the 'matter of creation' in the creative thought of myths, were certainly understood the quality of mobile objects that communicated directly (and intimately) with gliuomini and the gods, either through a position that alluded to their status, both for the visual effect that promanavano their materials, and - at times - through enrollment more frequently engraved on sheets of stone.
