This volume presents the research outcomes of young scholars who obtained their Doctorate Degree in Civilisations of Asia and Africa at ‘Sapienza’ University of Rome between 2018 and 2020. The volume is a multidisciplinary collection of articles ranging from literature to linguistics, from history of religion to politics and economy. The contributions cover a long arch of time, touching upon the different geographical areas dealt with by the Doctorate Course: Middle East and North Africa, the Indian Subcontinent and Far Eastern Asia.
