We present an ultra-wideband technique, based on a coplanar waveguide, for single-cell sensing. Numerical analysis carried out on the modeled system shows that variations of the scattering parameter S-21, in the presence and in the absence of a spherical cell, are such that the cell can be sensed by means of scattering parameters measurements.
