Acquired FXIII deficiency is a rare coagulopathy secondary of many medical conditions. It can be related to FXIII decreased production, increased consumption or to development of autoantibodies. Patients present severe bleeding symptoms; the diagnosis can be difficult because the first level coagulation tests are all normal.
