Fabrication of samples showing plasmonic properties is a fundamental step towards the realization of devices that can exhibit peculiar electromagnetic properties. In this work we illustrate some fabrication techniques that can reveal useful for the realization of this kind of samples. For what concerns materials, we used polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) combined with Au nanoparticles (NPs). A first experimental characterization of the obtained structures has been reported. © 2012 Copyright Taylor and Francis Group, LLC.
