L’industria 4.0 e formazione futuri designer. La formazione che parte dal basso, tra Fab Lab e Scuola Pubblica

The contribution is part of the critical framework of the Design education and the so-called “learning by doing” approach. The educational topic is constantly evolving because the discipline of Design is a situated learning, it's also determined by new emerging technological tools, such as those from the Industry 4.0 frontier. The contribution shows case-study in which the Fab Lab has been a partner of the public school to bring young people closer to scientific thinking, and to future STEAM professions. The critical objective is to reflect how the future designer within the newly-born industry 4.0 will need to acquire a skill technique that must necessarily start from the bottom, from early levels of education.

Il contributo si inserisce nel quadro critico della formazione del Design e della modalità riconosciuta come del “learning by doing”. Il tema della formazione è in costante evoluzione perché il Design è una pratica situata, si determina anche attraverso i nuovi tools tecnologici emergenti, come quelli della frontiera dell’Industria 4.0. Il contributo riporta casi-studio nei quali il Fab Lab è stato partner della scuola pubblica per avvicinare i giovani al pensiero scientifico, e alle future professioni STEAM. L’obiettivo critico è riflettere come il Designer del futuro dentro la neo-nata Industria 4.0 dovrà riacquisire una competenza tecnica che dovrà necessariamente partire dal basso, già dai primi livelli di educazione scolastica.
