Linee di ricerca: temi e ricerche del dottorato in architettura - teorie e progetto 1986-2017

Conceived in the field of the PhD in Architecture – Theories and Project in “Sapienza”, University of Rome, in the Architecture and Project Department and during the seminary “Research Lines” held by professor Antonino Saggio, Phd coordinator, the book aims to encourage and facilitate the reader in his/her first steps into research. Each chapter in based upon the analysis of two dissertations with short interviews to researchers and lecturer, who originally wrote the dissertations during these last thirty years. At the same time the cataloging work resumed in the final appendix of this pubblication, including more than two hundred of dissertations divided in different thematic areas, defines a synthetic image of the PhD research and it allows to mark some future research lines.

Nato nell’ambito del Dottorato in Architettura - Teorie e Progetto di “Sapienza”, Università di Roma, del Dipartimento di Architettura e Progetto e del seminario “Linee di Ricerca” tenuto dal prof. Antonino Saggio, coordinatore del Corso di Dottorato il libro ha lo scopo di stimolare ed agevolare il lettore nei primi passi verso la propria ricerca. Ogni capitolo che compone il volume si basa sull’analisi di due dissertazioni e su brevi interviste a ricercatori e docenti, autori delle dissertazioni prodotte in questi ultimi trent’anni. Allo stesso tempo l’opera di catalogazione presente nell'appendice finale di questo libro di più di duecento dissertazioni suddivise in diverse aree tematiche restituisce un’immagine sintetica della ricerca del Dottorato e permette di tracciare alcune linee di possibili percorsi di ricerca futuri.
